World Laughter Day 3rd May

LAUGHTER

Sometimes my laughter

Comes out as a snort.

Sometimes no more than a snigger.

Sometimes my laughter

Is massively loud.

But often it’s heard as a titter.

___

I laugh when I’m tickled

I laugh at a joke,

And sometimes I laugh in surprise.

___

I laugh when I’m nervous

Or being polite.

I can silently laugh with my eyes.

___

I‘ve been known to laugh

Like a chimpanzee.

Or sound like a laughing hyena.

__

But the way that I laugh

Doesn’t matter to me,

As long as it helps my demeanour.
