It’s February already! It’s the month of Love and it’s also my birthday month. Here are a couple of poems I’d like to share with you.

LOVE

Love is a thing you can feel,

Love is a thing you know.

The sense of it all around you

Wrapping you up in a glow.

You can see to its heart in a smile.

From a sparkle in someone’s eyes.

Tears that fall, but not with pain,

With joy, from a special surprise.

Love is a bundle of happiness,

You can feel, you can hear, you can see.

Love is all around us –

Especially for you, from me.

FEELINGS

Happiness went for a walk today.

Bumped into Grumble and rolled it away.

Called out to Anger – have a nice day.

Put its arms around Anxious – it will be okay.

Reached out to Sadness and lifted the grey.

Straightened the words of Confusion’s dismay.

Took Disappointment off to play.

Gathered up Hate in a sunny display.

Teamed up with Love and paved the way.
