Not slimy like a frog’s.

Bufo’s legs are short
Because it waddles and it crawls.
It doesn’t hop like frogs do
Over logs and garden walls.

Gardeners like the Bufo,
It slurps up slugs and snails.
You’ll find it under garden sheds
Or upturned pots and pails.

Bufo likes a compost heap
And places warm and smelly.
